What does 5 beeps mean??

I can hear the smoke alarm in my apt complex, and from the apartments across the street? It’s been going on for awhile (I’m slightly annoyed seeing as it’s 5 in the morning) but I’m 90% sure there’s no actual smoke going on, so why are our alarms and our neighbors being triggered? And on top of that, sometimes ours will turn off for a few seconds/minutes, only to turn back on again? While our neighbors alarm is singing for its life? Mind you there’s no visible fire or anything, and nobody seemed to be evacuating, plus it’s kind of sprinkling atm? Idk Im sorry for rambling, I’m gonna go back to sleep if I can.

The water pressure will open what's left like an accordion. 5:30 If the Burning Material is Visible from the street, you position the Engine, so the Deck Gun has a line of sight on it. One FFer on the hydrant line. The second is the engineer activating the pump. The third to the Deck Gun and the Fourth pulling a line. This took 55 seconds, and you will be hard pressed to find one fire video that shows water flowing even this fast. There just aren't any because the USA doesn't have people with that kind of work ethic. Don't worry, I've been a citizen of the USA for 71 years. I just have the ability to evaluate performance. 6:20 I KNEW IT! Look how the officer has to shake out the line and the engineer has to leave his post to do the same. Pro tip. If you get to floor you're operating from, and you know more people are coming into the lobby who need to come up and may not have their own key, just turn the phase 2 switch OFF and leave the key in. It will revert to phase 1 and the next crew can come up.

This is very helpful! But can someone tell me, when CO alarm goes off, is it one set of the 4 or will it keep going off like when the smoke alarm goes off and keeps going off until there’s air?

I am a fire sprinkler contractor that test these systems, this is great insight on why we test these systems.
